The purpose of "Celebrate The Healing Power of ART", founded by Renee Phillips, Director of Manhattan Arts International, is to Promote ART and all aspects of CREATIVITY and its vital importance to healing individuals and the planet. We believe that when Artists create healing Art they not only experience a healing process within themselves, their Art also has a healing impact on viewers.

Art With A Heart

Most artists I know are very generous, donating their art for worthy causes throughout the year to help charities, especially during the holiday season. I am honored to be one of the organizers and participants in such an event.

"Art With A Heart" is an exhibition and benefit featuring work of art by New York artists Sharon Goldberg, Marilyn Green, Nadiya Jinnah, Diane Leon, Cassidy & John Olson, Christian LeGars, Bren Sibilsky, Joanne Turney, and myself.

I'm delighted to be offering several of my Jewelry of ART sculptured and painted pendant pieces like the one shown here that has a strand of Amethyst and Swarovski crystals.

The purpose of "Art With A Heart" is to raise funds for City Harvest www.cityharvest.org which helps to feed over 260,000 New Yorkers in need each week. We will be donating 40% of our sales to that organization.

City Harvest also "Addresses hunger's underlying causes by supporting affordable access to nutritious food in low-income communities, educating individuals, families, and communities in the prevention of diet-related diseases, channeling a greater amount of local farm food into high-need areas, and enhancing the ability of our agency partners to feed hungry men, women, and children."

"Art with Heart" will take place December 17, 6-8 pm, and December 19, 2-5 pm at Nadiya Jinnah's Studio, 500 West 52 Street, 6th floor, New York, NY. Refreshments will be served. Admission is free.

Celebrate the Healing Virtues of ART

Art is a natural force that promotes heath and well-being for the creator as well as the viewer. Art has transformative powers to change a person’s outlook and the way they experience the world. It has been proven that Art can affect a person’s physiology impacting brain wave patterns and the nervous system and the cells in the body and it has the power to promote healing and thus alter a person’s immune system. This is cause for Celebration!
